Immigrant Visas - American citizens may file immigrant visa petitions on behalf of their immediate relatives (spouse, parents, children and siblings) in the Visa Unit. All other petitions must be filed with the Immigration and Naturalization Service in the United States. Specific questions about the filing process and requirements should be addressed directly to the Immigrant Visa Unit.
