Ana receives the Ambassador’s Fund
September 23, 2004
In an official ceremony on September 23,
U.S. Ambassador H. Douglas Barclay presented a grant from
the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation for
a project to restore the Cathedral of Santa Ana.
Participating in the ceremony were Minister of Tourism Luis
Cardenal; President of CONCULTURA Federico Hernández
Aguilar; Santa Ana Mayor Orlando Mena; Bishop of Santa Ana
Monsignor Romeo Tovar Astorga; and the President of the Association
for the Cultural Patrimony of Santa Ana (APACULSA), José Ramón
Francia.
