The 2004 General Election will take place on Tuesday, November 2, 2004. U.S. law permits U.S. citizens abroad to vote absentee. In order to do so, however, you must register and request an absentee ballot. Federal Post Card Applications (FPCA) to register and request an absentee ballot are available in the Consular Section. Extensive information about your voting rights and this year's election can be found at http://www.fvap.gov.

Please contact the Consular Section on xt. 2105 or 3179 to request an FPCA. While procedures may vary from State to State, an FPCA will normally entitle an overseas voter to receive absentee ballots for all elections in a calendar year.
