The Public Affairs Section of the American Embassy in Malta explains and advocates U.S. policy. It also fosters academic exchanges, linkages between Maltese and U.S. institutions, and provides information on the United States - its government, policies, society and culture.
The American Center also administers educational exchange programs including, the Fulbright Scholar Program, the Hubert Humphrey Fellowship program, and the English Teaching Recycling Program and sponsors the participation of Maltese nationals in the Salzburg Seminar.
The Information Resource Center forms part of The American Center, and provides information about U.S. policy and institutions.
