Energy Prices & Trends

The  Energy Information Administration (EIA) is the statistical agency of the Department of Energy.  It provides policy-independent data, forecasts, and analyses to promote sound policy making, efficient markets, and public understanding regarding energy, and its interaction with the economy and the environment.

Country Analysis Briefs
Analyses on major energy issues for various countries, including special topics related to international energy markets. These reports are generally updated on an annual basis.

Short-Term Energy Outlook
This 18-month forecast includes information on oil and gasoline prices and supply.

Energy Information Administration Bookshelf
The most current  EIA publications, directories, and feature articles are available in many categories.   Past issues are available in the Library/Archives.

Primer on Gasoline Prices
