The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) will host the 2004 Satellite Direct Readout Conference on December 6-10, 2004 in Miami, Florida. The purpose of this Conference is to continue discussions initiated during the 2002 Satellite Direct Readout Conference for the Americas and to expand the scope to include all users world wide. This year's Conference theme is: A Decade in Transition.
2004 Announcements:
The NOAA - David Johnson Award is presented by the National Space Club, in honor of the first Administrator of what was to become the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS). This award is given to young professionals who have developed an innovative use of Earth observation satellite data. Note: Award Nomination Deadline is December 1, 2004
