Services & ResourcesInformation Resource Centers provide access to current, comprehensive background on legislative, regulatory, economic, and social issues for their consular district. Please check with the Information Resource Center (IRC) in your consular district for research assistance.
IRC resources are intended to meet the needs of government officials, journalists, researchers and others with professional level interest in the United States and related subjects. Electronic and print resources range from general reference materials to specialized collections of government documents and related material on international relations, the U.S. economy and contemporary American politics and society.

About the USA is also available in CD-ROM format. Off-line the CD-ROM provides direct access to e-texts which include official transcripts of speeches, reports and statistical summaries, educational materials, and other government materials of direct relevance to subject pages. Copies may be requested from the IRC in your consular district.
