In view of the upcoming presidential election, there is an increasing international focus on the USA. While important statements of American politicians are also reported on in Germany, the spectrum of political opinions of the American public is less well known here. Andrea Böhm has traveled extensively in the USA. Her insights into the societal changes of the last couple of years are the subject of her new book Die Amerikaner.
Andrea Böhm, born in 1961, is a free lancing journalist in New York. She publishes her articles in Die Zeit, die tageszeitung, Le monde diplomatique, GEO and other newspapers and magazines.
