To apply for a visa, the following is needed:
valid passportvisa application form(s) filled out completelyone photograph$100 application fee (or the equivalent in local currency)visa fee (when applicable, varies with visa type and the nationality of the applicant)
When applying for a tourist/business visa, applicants will be asked by the consul to prove that they have strong ties to a foreign country to which they intend to return. Such proof may be, but is not limited to:
Proof of work or schoolEvidence concerning the purpose of travel to the U.S.Proof of propertyEvidence of level of business activity
Separate documents are required for student, temporary work, or religious work visas.
Non Immigrant Visa processing
No appointment is required for Non-immigrant visas. Visas application days are Tuesdays and Thursdays. Visa application hours are 08.00AM to 11.30AM. All non-immigrant Visas are processed and returned the same day.
