Pretend Difficulty Hearing - Keep Caller Talking - If Caller Seems Agreeable To Further Conservations, Ask Questions Like:

If building is occupied, inform caller that detonation could cause injury or death.

Did caller appear familiar with plant or building (by his/her description of the bomb location?) Write out the message in its entirety and any other comments on a separate sheet of paper and attach to this checklist. Notify your supervisor immediately.

At headquarters, activate malicious caller trace.

To activate malicious call hold on a phone with a single line do the following:

If you have a "link" button then you should press link, dial 11, lay the phone down and go to another phone and dial 166.

If your phone does not have a "link" button you should flash your switchhook, dial 11, lay the phone down and go to another phone and dial 166.

To activate malicious call hold on a multi-line phone do the following:

Press the CNF3 button, dial 11, place that line on hold, select another line and dial 166 or lay the phone down and go to another phone and dial 166.
