Self-service photocopying

LANL staff may copy articles for Laboratory business at no cost on the Library's photocopy machines, located on the Main and Lower Levels of the Research Library.

Copying by library staff

How delivered: Articles are delivered as PDF files, sent as e-mail attachments. If specifically requested we can send a photocopy on paper via interoffice mail or hold it for pickup. Turnaround time for articles to be sent through Laboratory mail is one week.

How many: The Library will make one copy of a journal article, conference paper or book chapter from the library collections for free. This applies to LANL staff, with a limit of five requests per person, per day.

How to request: You can obtain this service by telephone (665-5809); fax (665-2948); e-mail; regular mail (MS-P362); or by using our Web-based Library Request Form.

Library staff will also photocopy up to 25 pages of any technical report from the unclassified report collection. You can obtain this service by telephone (667-4446); fax (665-0611); e-mail; regular mail (MS-364); or by using our Web-based Library Request Form.

The Laboratory Copy Center (667-4034) in the basement of the Administration Building provides RUSH service and copying of materials that are not Library property.
