BIOSIS is now in SearchPlus, the Research Library's cross-database search interface. BIOSIS is the world's leading life sciences database, covering biological and biomedical sciences, botany, biochemistry, biophysics, biotechnology, medicine, public health, radiation biology, ecology and the environment from 1969 to present. BIOSIS indexes 5,000 journals, 1500 meetings, books, reviews, and U.S. patents. It offers extensive indexing with controlled vocabulary, MESH terminology, and CAS registry numbers.
SearchPlus is a key resource for accessing and using scholarly literature. Its combined databases offer LANL users access to 50 million records, with tools for setting personal preferences, outputting search results, and keeping up-to-date with alerts.
