The Handbook

The Handbook of Mathematical Functions (with Formulas, Graphs, and Mathematical Tables) edited by M. Abramowitz and I.A. Stegun, was originally published in 1964, and went through several revisions through the 10th printing in 1972. It is often referred to by the shorthand AMS55, referring to its being the 55th volume in the National Bureau of Standards' Applied Mathematics Series, and sometimes, simply, as The Handbook
