CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS (CFR) (Issued As Updated) Codification of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by the Executive departments and agencies of the Federal Government. Divided into 50 titles representing broad areas subject to Federal regulation.
CONGRESSIONAL DIRECTORY (Issued every two years) Presents short biographies of each member of the Senate and the House, listed by States and Districts, respectively. Includes additional data such as his/her committee memberships, terms of service, administrative assistant and/or secretary, room and telephone numbers. Also lists official of the courts, the military establishments, and other Federal departments and agencies, including the D.C. Government; Governors of States and Territories; foreign diplomats; and members of the press, radio, and television galleries. (This title is available on 3½ diskette with GPO Locator Codes.)
CONGRESSIONAL RECORD (Issued daily when Congress is in session) A verbatim report on Congressional debates and other proceedings. Each issue includes a Daily Digest that summarizes the proceedings for that day in each House and before each of their committees and subcommittees. The legislative program for that day presented, and at the end of the week, the program for the following week. (The diskettes are available on a 3 ½ diskette with GPO Locator Codes.)
DAILY BILLS DIGEST (Issued daily when Congress is in session) A compilation of bills reported and filed by the various Committees of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.

FEDERAL REGISTER (Issued daily) Provides a uniform system for making regulations and legal notices issued by Federal Agencies available to the public. These include Presidential proclamations and Executive Orders and Federal agency documents having general applicability and legal effect, documents required to be published by Act of Congress and other Federal agency Documents of public interest. PUBLIC LAWS (108th Congress forward) (Issued as Published) Subscribers initially receive all public laws for the 108th Congress, Second Session. Afterward, public laws are available as published. One-year subscription runs from January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004. This subscription is available with GPO Locator Codes.

UNITED STATES CODE (USC) (Issued as Published) Contains the general and permanent laws of the United States, 1994 Edition. Includes Titles 1 through 50; Tables; Popular Names; General Index; and supplements. (These volumes are available on diskette with GPO Locator Codes.)
U.S. GOVERNMENT MANUAL (Issued Annually) Provides information on the agencies of the Legislative, Judicial, and Executive branches of the government. Also includes information on quasi-official agencies, international organizations in which the United States participates, and boards, committees, and commissions. Each agency entry contains: a summary of the agency’s purpose and federal role; a brief history of the agency; its legislative or executive authority; a description of its programs and activities; and a ‘Source of Information’ section. WEEKLY COMPILATION OF PRESIDENTIAL DOCUMENTS Makes available transcripts of the President’s news conferences, messages to Congress, public speeches and statements and other presidential materials released by the White House. (This title is available on one (1) 3 ½ diskette with GPO Locator Codes.)
