• The next Records Center Forum will be held at the National Archives Building in Washington DC on Thursday, October 21, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. More To register, please contact Kristen Soter at 301-837-1640 or via email at kristen.soter@nara.gov

• The Washington National Records Center (WNRC) invites DC-area customers to attend an Open Forum at 10:00 a.m. on October 26, 2004. NARA staff will be present to answer questions concerning 2005 records center rates and storage and services for temporary electronic records. Light refreshments will be served. • The 9/11 Commission has transferred legal custody of its records to the National Archives. Public access to these records is under restriction until 2009. However, the Commission's publicly released records remain available on its web site.
