The Chesapeake Bay: Geologic Product of Rising Sea Level
A USGS Fact Sheet on the impact of the rising sea level. Most people are not aware of the impact on the rising relative sea level within the Chesapeake Bay. The rising sea level is creating wide-ranging effects including "vanishing islands" and shore erosion.
