The African American Chamber of Commerce is designed to meet community needs. It is a voluntary organization of individuals and businesses who ban together to advance the commercial, financial, industrial and civic interest of the community. It is a civic clearinghouse, a public relation counselor, a legislative representative at the local, state and national levels of government. The African American Chamber is an information bureau and a research/promotional medium.
The Objectives of the Chamber are:
- To promote a better understanding of our private enterprise system.
- To coordinate the effort of commerce, industry and the professions in maintaining and strengthening a sound healthy climate in Westchester and Rockland Counties.
