Welcome to the Farm Service Agency’s (FSA) homepage! I am eager to share with you what we do and why we do it.

American agriculture makes up over 15 percent of our gross domestic product, and it generates $1 trillion in economic activity each year. One in six working Americans has a job in some aspect of the food and fiber economy, while every American benefits from U.S. agriculture.

FSA employees are devoted to improving the economic stability of agriculture by providing top-notch service to 65 million rural Americans. Our Agency administers a myriad of programs – farm loans, farm programs, food aid, conservation incentives, and others – to help keep our Nation’s farmers and ranchers on their land, and to help those who wish to begin farming and ranching for their livelihoods. Every day FSA helps promote America’s high-quality, affordable, varied, and abundant food supply and sound stewardship of the land.

I hope you will find our website user-friendly and packed with useful information. The new design includes expanded program information, direct links to news releases, online FSA forms, county loan deficiency payment rates, and contacts for buyers and producers.

I welcome feedback from you. Please send your emails to: James R. Little. I can’t promise I will be able to answer each one of you, but I can promise that I will carefully consider your thoughts, ideas, and concerns.
