Type 1 Diabetes: Clinical Trials and Research Resources
Below you will find links to information for type 1 diabetes patients and for investigators conducting type 1 diabetes research. People with type 1 diabetes and their families can find information on clinical studies seeking volunteers. Researchers studying type 1 diabetes and its complications can find information on funding opportunities, resources, consortia, and networks.
The studies and resources described above are supported by the Type 1 Diabetes Special Funding Program, which is additional funding given to the Department of Health and Human Services to use for studies on type 1 diabetes and its complications. Other type 1 diabetes activities are under way at the National Institutes of Health.
