Updating Entity Status |

If you wish to pay a patent maintenance fee online and the entity status for the patent is not correct, you will need to submit an "entity status change" request in writing. Please either submit this request by mail or fax your request to the Maintenance Fee Branch. Please allow us enough time to receive and process your entity status change request BEFORE you attempt to pay your maintenance fee over the Internet.
