Best Managment Practices for Oil and Gas Development on the Public Lands

Best Management Practices (BMPs) are not one-size-fits-all. BMPs should be matched and adapted to meet the site-specific requirements of the project and local environment. The following slideshows provide a more detailed look at a menu of possible oil and natural gas development BMPs. These slideshows are only a starting point and are not intended to serve as a comprehensive list of BMPs.
