Fire Geospatial Coverages
Fire histories, fuel conditions and models of potential fire zones are
of great interest to fire scientists and managers. Geospatial fire related
information has been collected for many areas. This geospatial data is
then stored as coverages or layers using Geographic Information Systems
(GIS) software. This section contains a listing of available fire related
coverages for the Pacific Northwest. For information about general sources
of geospatial data, please visit our geospatial
data page.
