NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY
TENTATIVE FIELD PARTY SCHEDULES
The National Geodetic Survey (NGS) maintains a small field force that performs geodetic surveys throughout the United States and its possessions.  These field parties utilize Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers, leveling instruments, total stations, absolute gravity meters, and a variety of other geodetic surveying instruments to establish and maintain the National Spatial Reference System (NSRS) and to develop standards and specifications for the surveying community.  In addition, the NGS field parties support other important surveying endeavors such as the Continuously Operating Reference Station (CORS) GPS Network, Aeronautical Survey Programs, and Coastal Mapping Projects.

The Observation and Analysis Division of NGS maintains the schedules of geodetic surveys to be performed by NGS field parties and the schedules of NOAA aircraft flying remote sensing missions .  These schedules are updated and posted, as time allows, on  NGS' web site. These schedules are tentative and may not  be current.
