Public Awareness Programs

The NPS Air Resources Division synthisizes information from the NPS air quality research and monitoring programs and disseminates the information to park personnel. This information provides the public with an understanding of highly complex air quality issues currently facing the NPS.

There is a variety of air quality materials that are being used at parks that include brochures, pamphlets, manuals, summery reports, photos, videotapes, exibits, and posters.
