Technical Information

Calibration Files
The L7 Data Quality Team at EROS issues Calibration Parameter Files (CPFs) containing over 15,000 coefficients that describe the radiometric and geometric characteristics of Landsat 7 data. These coefficients are used in processing Landsat 7 data to Level-1 products. CPFs are issued to span distinct timeframes and are often updated with improved calibration coefficients.

Definitive Ephemeris
Provides precise orbit information for the Landsat 7 satellite

Investigations
Provides documentation on various, occasional changes in the Landsat scanning mirror. These changes usually cause visible artifacts to appear in the images taken during the event.

Data Acquisition
Contains information about tracking the satellite, tools used to determine which day the satellite is on and information about the path / row of the satellite

Documentation
Lists all documents pertaining to the Landsat Project

Image Processing
Describes the levels of image processing and the processing systems that generate Level 1 products
