John G. Corlett
Ph.D.
John is an independent organizational consultant, university lecturer, and writer. As a consultant, he has worked for many years with executives and managers on organizational culture change, internal mergers, downsizing, diversity, team development, organizational effectiveness, contemporary human resource management practices, leadership/professional development, and organizational restructuring. His clients have included: Lockheed Martin; ATCALL, Inc.; NASA; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms; the U.S. Department of Labor; Consulting Psychologists Press; InnoVision Communications; the Virginia League of Social Services Executives; the Junior League of Washington, the American Public Human Services Association, and the Federal Executive Institute. John is skilled in a broad range of organization development techniques. He is an adjunct faculty member at George Mason University, The Union Institute, and the University of Virginia. He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in change management, organization theory, organization development, organizational behavior, managerial leadership, human resource management, and consulting theory and practice. As a writer, John's main research interest is the development of what he calls Jungian Organization Theory, the application of C.G. Jung's psychology to the analysis of organizational dynamics.
