Roger L. Firestien
Ph.D., Creativity

Dr. Roger L. Firestien is President of Innovation Resources, Inc. and Associate Professor at the Center for Studies in Creativity at Buffalo State College in Buffalo, New York. Roger has designed and presented programs in Creative Problem Solving to thousands of people in audiences throughout the Unites States, Europe and South America. Roger is the author of over 70 articles, books, audio or video programs published in both the popular and professional press. Some of his publications include: From Basics to Breakthroughs, Power Think, and the creativity fable Why Didn't I Think of That? He is the host and author of the video program, Unleashing the Power of Creativity: The Key to Teamwork, Empowerment and Continuous Improvement and is the host of the video series, Brilliant Simply Brilliant. He is publisher of the internationally recognized creativity newsletter Insights Into Innovation. His latest book, Leading on the Creative Edge is in bookstores nationwide. His expert views on creativity have been reported in Training Magazine, Young Executive, Entrepreneur, Success Magazine, Self Magazine, and Delta Airlines SKY Magazine. Roger holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado, a master of science degree in Creative Studies from Buffalo State College, and a doctor of philosophy degree in Communication from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
