John M. Mangieri
Ph.D., Leadership
Since 1994, John N. Mangieri has been the President of Maitland & Kettering, a company whose mission is to improve the quality, effectiveness, and profitability of organizations. Prior to that, John served a variety of university roles, including president. While working in higher education, he led and co-developed the program that was selected by the American Association of University Administrators for its prestigious Exemplary Models of Administrative Leadership Award. John, a former Fulbright Scholar, has conducted leadership programs for numerous businesses, government agencies, educational groups and healthcare providers. He is an instructor at the University of California (Berkeley) Worldwide Leadership Program, and as such, he offers leadership development programs to senior-level executives at various locations throughout the world. He has authored or co-authored 13 books and 91 professional articles. He is also the co-author of the Yale Assessment of Thinking, a test that has been administered to over 25,000 government, business, education, and healthcare leaders since its publication in 1997.
