Lead Informally and Effectively This seminar is an intensive one-week program designed to meet the needs of individuals who are not currently in supervisory or managerial positions but who take on key leadership roles as analysts, project managers, and technical specialists. This program also serves as an excellent follow-up to the Leadership Potential Seminar (LPS). The program concentrates on developing informal leadership skills necessary to influence positive organizational success without positional authority. The program is highly participatory and experiential in its approach. Participants create an integrated development plan that matches organizational needs with individual achievement and success.
Who Should AttendTechnical specialists, analysts, project leaders, scientists, engineers, and professional staff who are currently not supervisors or managers, but wish to learn more about increasing their leadership abilities.Special Note: An extensive amount of assessment instrumentation must be completed before attending this program. The MDCs must receive individual nominations, by name, along with an obligating document, no later than four weeks prior to the seminar start date so that scoring and analysis can be completed.
