The Story Factor: Influence, Inspiration, and Persuasion Through the Art of Storytelling
Faculty:
Annette Simmons
Overview:
This two-day intensive workshop explores the psychology of influence together with the skills and theories of storytelling. Layering these two concepts reveals powerful new strategies to help participants influence others to see what they see and feel inspired to act accordingly. This course awakens creativity. It gently reveals the gap between a participant's professed theory of influence and his/her theories in action so he/she can discover more choices. This course orchestrates a journey that engages mind, body and soul through a personal examination of the stories you tell yourself, the stories you implicitly/explicitly tell others, and new stories that can open closed doors.
