Safe Water System Handbook

This Handbook describes the steps to implement and maintain a Safe Water System Program. We have a HTML and a PDF version of our Enlish Handbook available for download from this page. Our Handbook is also available in Spanish, French, and Arabic.

If you would like hard copies of our Handbook (at no charge) in any of the four languages, please email us at safewater@cdc.gov.

HTML Format: This link will take you to our Handbook in small HTML files with links between the various chapters and pages. This version is better for computers with slow internet connections. To speed up downloading and printing, we have removed most of the photos in this version.

PDF Format: Clicking on this link will download a large single file of the whole manual in PDF format (37.5 MB). Downloads will be more successful using a computer with a fast Internet connection. This file keeps the formatting of the printed book version of the Handbook.
