Requirements Synopsis

The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to procure, on a sole-source basis, POFMS support services for the Office of Polar Programs (OPP) from Systani, Inc under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. POFMS is a database designed to track contract costs for the Office of Polar Programs, Polar Research Support Section. Systani, Inc. is uniquely qualified, as this company created the POFMS database and has provided support services since 1997. It is anticipated that the purchase order will have a period of performance of one year.

The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106.
