NSF unveils new FastLane Letter of Intent Module
NSF is pleased to announce the introduction of its FastLane Letter of Intent (LOI) Module. This added feature in FastLane incorporates and automates both functionality and standard methodology for preparing, viewing, and distributing Letters of Intent for a Program Solicitation. Principal Investigators will be able to access the LOI Module through PI/Co-PI Management while Sponsored Project Officers will be able to access through Research Administration.
On August 7th, 2004, the FastLane Letter of Intent Module will be available on NSF's FastLane. Features of the module include:
Standardized functionality and method for managing, preparing, viewing and distributing LOIs.
Flexible and dynamic format for streamlining the creation of LOIs.
Innovative method of automating the LOI Process.
Easy to follow instructions on each module page.
Principal Investigators can view solicitations or create / submit / forward LOIs. Sponsored Project Officers can view solicitations or create / submit / administer LOIs. Capacity to export LOI lists to Microsoft Excel. NSF would like to thank all who participated in the effort and welcomes your feedback as we continue to make enhancements.
