Role of Community in Research with Stored Tissue Samples - presents
the ethical bases for the draft Indian Health Service's (IHS) Guidelines
about the collection and use of research specimens. The Guidelines were
designed to be a working document for American Indian and Alaska Native
(AI/AN) communities. There are substantive discussions about Tribal
sovereignty and research; core values of Tribal communities, and community
relationships.
