Magnetic Flux Imaging System

Caption:

The Magnetic Flux Imaging System, used here by physicist Maria Iavarone, allows scientists to make images of magnetic fields in superconductors. The system is used to pinpoint the location of flaws in superconducting wire in order to improve the wire’s performance.
