Who We Are
Supply Chain Management (SCM) is part of the business management team developed to meet the demands of the INEEL's mission. SCM embraces a materials management philosophy that incorporates several organizations: procurement, warehousing, property control, receiving and distribution, and surplus sales. Each of these organizations have diverse functional elements and are key to the success of the INEEL mission. Today, the INEEL is solving critical problems and offering technology solutions related to the environment, energy production and use, and national security through partnerships with private industry, colleges, and universities. SCM is a vital link in the success of the INEEL's mission by managing the acquisition, storage, and disposal of goods and services.

What We Do
In support of the INEEL mission, SCM is responsible for the provision, storage, distribution, and inventory control of needed products and services. SCM does this using a combination of high-tech systems, stringent quality control, continually improved processes, simplified documents, best business practices, and an aggressive approach to electronic commerce. SCM strives for clear and concise communications between ourselves, our customers, and the suppliers we depend on for continued success.
