Health IT Strategic FrameworkPer the Executive Order 13335 from the White House which established the Office of the the National Coordinator for Health Information TechnologyONCHIT), federal agencies are required to draft an alignment plan with the Strategic Framework, that was issued by the ONCHIT earlier this year, on all related health IT programs and initiatives. The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has worked with the National Coordinator's Office to develop an online template that allows for the documentation of programmatic goals and initiatives. Please use this template to document and submit alignment plans. Plans are due December 1, 2004.
