The U.S. Geological Survey is a cosponsor of the American Institute of Hydrology's (AIH) "Integrated Water Resource Management" conference to be held during October 17-20, 2004 at the Alexis Park Hotel, Las Vegas, NV. AIH currently is accepting abstracts for both oral and poster presentations. Attached is the conference announcement and registration form.

For those wishing to become registered Professional Hydrologists, attendance and payment of the full conference registration fee will waive the application fee for professional registration (a $75 value). This is a great opportunity for those who have been working in the field of hydrology for many years and wish to be recognized as a professional outside of government.

The deadline for submitting your abstract is June 30, so please don't delay. I look forward to seeing you at the conference.
