Trade Act of 2002 Informed Compliance Implementation for Trucks

CBP officers will present notice to truckers when found out of compliance with the new U.S. advance electronic cargo information regulations (19 CFR 123.92).

The rules require advance transmission of electronic cargo information to CBP for both arriving and departing cargo and provide for various effective dates depending upon the mode of transportation.
