SUBJECT:	REVISED Ordering Procedures for Access to NASA SEWP II Contracts

Effective June 17, 1997, the contents of this notice supersedes the contents of the NASA SEWP II notice issued in April by the undersigned. In addition to updated contractual status, this notice includes:

New mailing address and FAX number for use by Contracting Officers in forwarding SEWP II Delivery Orders to NASA

New SURCHARGE procedures

A sixth attachment (i.e. Attachment VI - SEWP II Contract Descriptions)

NASA has announced that its scientific and engineering workstation procurement (SEWP) II contracts are open to all non-NASA Federal Agencies and contractors. SEWP II provides a contract vehicle for purchasing a full range of equipment from desktop to scientific and engineering workstations and other networking and high performance graphics equipment. SEWP II offers a wide range of UNIX and Windows NT workstations and other hardware including network support, software, maintenance, and development. A ¾ % NASA surcharge is applicable to all SEWP Delivery Orders except modifications of $10,000 or less.

Additional information beyond that in the six attachments to this notice may be found at the NASA SEWP web-site (nasa.sewp.nasa.gov). For NIH and DHHS components, the information contained in this notice takes precedence over the NASA SEWP web-site presentation in the event of conflict.
