NATIONAL AERONAUTICS AND SPACE ADMINISTRATION (NASA) OFFICE OF EXPLORATION SYSTEMS ANNOUNCEMENT OF PRESOLICITATION CONFERENCE

NASA will present to industry an overview of the current planning for the overall acquisition strategy to implement the Nation's Vision for Space Exploration. This will include near-term plans and schedule for the first Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for Concept Exploration and Refinement (CE&R;) and subsequent procurements during the coming year. Currently scheduled for a summer 2004 release, this first BAA will seek industry concepts for human space exploration and system solutions for a crew exploration vehicle.

The session will be conducted on May 7, 2004 at NASA Headquarters, James E. Webb Auditorium, 300 E Street SW, Washington DC from 08:30 am to 12:00 pm EST.

Registration particulars are as follows:

- Pre-registration is NOT required.

- Presentations will be unclassified.

- Participants will not be required to obtain a visitor badge. However, they are subject to personal inspection, prior to entering the auditorium.
