AMENDMENT No. 1 TO THE NASA RESEARCH ANNOUNCEMENT (NRA) ENTITLED "RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES IN SPACE SCIENCE (ROSS) 2004," NNH04ZSS0001N, RELEASED JANUARY 30, 2004

On or about February 18, 2004, Amendment No. 1 to NASA Research Announcement "Research Opportunities in Space Science" (NNH04ZSS001N) will be posted on its homepage Web site at http://research.hq.nasa.gov/code_s/nra/current/NNH04ZSS001N/ index.html that establishes a new Program Element A.13 in Appendix A entitled "Origins Science Mission Concept Studies." This new Program Element solicits proposals for studies of potential science investigations that address compelling Astronomical Search for Origins questions that are not addressed by current or planned missions. Proposals and studies should discuss science investigation goals as well as concepts for missions that help realize those goals. Notices of Intent to propose are due March 17, 2004, and proposals are due April 28, 2004.
