NATIONAL AERONAUTICS AND SPACE ADMINISTRATION (NASA) EXPLORATION SYSTEMS MISSION DIRECTORATE ANNOUNCEMENT OF PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE FOR HUMAN AND ROBOTIC TECHNOLOGY BROAD AGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT

NASA’s Exploration Systems Mission Directorate (formerly Office of Exploration Systems) will conduct a Pre-proposal Conference for the Human and Robotic Technology (H&RT;) Systems-of- Systems Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). The objective of this forum is to provide industry with particulars focused on the following:

1. Overview of Developments Programs and Acquisition Strategy 2. H&RT; BAA and & Acquisition Strategy 3. Contract Process for H&RT; BAA

The session will be conducted on July 29, 2004 at the NASA Headquarters, James E. Webb Auditorium, 300 E Street SW, Washington, D.C. from 1300 to 1630 EST with registration beginning at 1215.

Please note this conference is not intended to serve as an all-inclusive Industry Day addressing the full scope of activities for the Exploration Systems Mission Directorate. This particular session will be focused on the H&RT; BAA acquisition activity.

The Pre-proposal Conference will be available for viewing via live web cast. You will be able to navigate to the web cast from the Exploration Systems main web site provided below. Additionally, a direct web link will be provided at a later date.

Please provide Company Name and Name/Title of each participant, point of contact, and phone number. Pre-registration is REQUIRED. To accommodate all interested firms, NASA requests that each company business unit or division limit the number of attendees to four (4) people.

Registration particulars are as follows:

§ Pre-registration is REQUIRED. o Registrants must consent to contact information being posted to the website. § All participants will be required to show photo identification upon arrival and will be subject to personal inspection.
