    • Health Care and Other Facilities grant program provides construction assistance to health facilities
    • Hill-Burton program obligation compliance (obligated facilities are required to provide free or reduced cost medical services to those persons who are uninsured and underinsured and meet eligibility criteria)

    • Hill-Burton direct and guaranteed loan management
    • Department of Housing and Urban Development hospital mortgage insurance program assistance
    • Office of Engineering Services provides architectural/engineering services during the application, design, bidding, and contruction phases of federally assisted projects for the U.S. Department of Health and Human
  • Division of Transplantation
    • Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network
    • Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients
    • National Marrow Donor Program
    • coordinates national organ and tissue donation activities
  • State Planning Grants Program
    • one-year grants to States to develop plans for providing access to affordable health insurance coverage to all their citizens.  States provide health insurance benefits similar in scope to the Federal Employees Health Benefit Plan, Medicaid, coverage offered to State employees or other similar quality benchmarks
  • National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program
    • Federal "no-fault" system compensates individuals, or families of individuals, injured by childhood vaccines, whether administered in the private or public sector
  • Smallpox Vaccine Injury Compensation Program
    • provides benefits and/or compensation to eligible smallpox vaccine recipients, vaccine contacts, and certain survivors
