WISEWOMAN projects provide women with opportunities, skills, and knowledge to help them adopt a heart healthy lifestyle. Both enhanced and standard projects provide CVD risk factor screening and education activities for women. The enhanced projects also conduct research to test the effectiveness of the lifestyle intervention. Standard projects do not conduct research.
