SAS Enterprise Guide requires the following:

  • Windows 98, Me, NT, 2000 or XP Operating System
  • Software requirements -- SAS 9.1.2 or SAS 8.2 software must include:
    • SAS/BASE software
    • SAS/GRAPH software
    • SAS/STAT software
    • SAS Integration Technologies
      (not necessary if you are using a local Windows server)

**Please note: Preserving the Repository During an Upgrade:

If you are upgrading from a previous release of Enterprise Guide software, and if you had existing definitions for servers, libraries, and users that you want to preserve, then you must back up your current repository before installing Enterprise Guide 3.0.
