The Department of Defense announced today the death of a sailor who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

 

            Petty Officer 3^rd Class David A. Cedergren, 25, of South St. Paul, Minn., died Sept. 11 near Iskandariayah, Iraq, in a non-combat related incident.  Cedergren was assigned to the 2^nd Marine Division Fleet Marine Forces Atlantic.

 

            The cause of death is under investigation.
