Visa Information

The American Consulate in Fukuoka does not process visas. Please refer the American Consulate General in Osaka-Kobe's homepage for more information.
The Embassy's Visa Information Line Service (03) 5354-4033, continues to offer recorded and fax messages about non-immigrant and immigrant visas 24 hours everyday. The system now accept VISA, MasterCard, JCB or AmericanExpress, and can be accessed from virtually any phone, your cellular phone or a public phone, all over the world.
The cost depends on the service: voice and fax messages are available for a charge of Y630 each. Live operators will take your call from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00 on regular business days, except U.S. and Japanese holidays, for a charge of Y735 for every 6 minutes.
