The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) Emergency Stabilization and Rehabilitation (ESR) web site is designed to provide Service personnel and the public information on Service ESR activities.
Departmental ESR policy is in the Departmental Manual 620 DM 3. Service ESR supplemental policy is in the Service Manual 095 FW 3.9 with policy implementation guidance provided in Chapter 5 of the FWS Fire Management Handbook. The Service Director established additional ESR Plan preparation, review, approval, and implementation accountability guidance.
Plans Status page provides links to .pdf versions of individual Emergency Stabilization and Rehabilitation (ESR) (1998 and October 1, 2003), Emergency Stabilization (ES) (after October 1, 2003), and Rehabilitation (R) (after October 1, 2003) Plans, Annual Accomplishment (AA) and Final Accomplishment (FA) reports and identifies whether plans that are active or completed.
The FWS ESR Contacts page lists the names and addresses of FWS ESR coordinators.
