to NCI-Frederick's Computer & Statistical Services Web Site.
C&SS provides the National Cancer
Institute's Frederick Campus with comprehensive computer support and
services, as well as statistical consultation and analysis. These
services are provided at no cost to the requesting NCI-Frederick entity. The
C&SS contract is managed by Data Management Services, Inc.
of Frederick, Maryland in accordance with
priorities set with the NCI. Among the chief responsibilities of C&SS
are:
C&SS
is responsible for developing, implementing, operating, and enhancing a
variety of administrative and Center-wide support systems that form the
basis for NCI-Frederick’s Management Information Systems.
C&SS
provides the NCI-Frederick with operational support for microcomputer hardware
and software, local area networking, and systems administration.
C&SS also operates the NCI-Frederick Computer Services
Helpdesk.
C&SS
provides statistical consultation, mathematical analysis, and scientific
programming services to the NCI-Frederick Scientific Community.
C&SS
develops and deploys web-based content to facilitate communications
between entities both external and internal to NCI-Frederick.
